Summer brings longer days and pleasant evenings perfect for nighttime outdoor activities with a beautiful view of the stars! Everyone loves sitting in a folding chair with their closest friends and family and sitting in the cool evening air! This type of summer is in full swing in downtown Birmingham!
Tons of annual events at Railroad Park are back! Free Friday Flicks has been one of these traditions, which has been happening since the 1990s. For the past ten years, this event has been hosted in Hoover—but lucky for you, it will now be hosted at Railroad Park!
The move is lucky for you because that means The Fennec is the perfect place to stop by before this fun movie night! The meals at the Fennec are delicious and will be served up very quickly, with different options for the whole family.
The movies start around dusk, which will be from 7:50 to 8:00pm every Friday night!
The movies that are being shown for the rest of the summer are “The Princess and the Frog” on June 16, “Minions: The Rise of Gru” on June 23 and “Back to the Future” on June 30. The July movies will be announced later on in the summer.
